It makes me sad to see such art like this get NO attention. This is eomething I feel ike I should be seeing in a museum.

I really love your use of paint here....very textural.Love your style...it seems to be along a similar application to mine (where I shy away from smoothness and refinement.)

So many people and artists seem to think you need to be as close to "perfection" and realism as possible for the art to be good.

That's bullshit.
This is art.

thanks
i agree with you about realism
theres this thing jim dine said, something along the lines of "my heart is too full to strive for realism"

refinement just clouds the emotion
and its not interesting to me
thanks again

I wish it were things like this that got featured as Daily Deviations... something with rawness and emotion and originality rather than the same old realistic fantasy landscape and anime characters...
I love the colours, the bright yellow and pink, but I love how you've used them to make it so dark.
This painting is so stunning, I just can't favourite it enough. You really are a wonderful painter.

Great piece, this looks like something I might see in a museum (no joke), it has that classic semi-surreal look to it, which I love. I get tired of seeing regular portrait paintings and sketches, so things like this are great.
